Our Shared Risk Program

Minimizing Financial Risk to Give You Peace of Mind

At Mid-Iowa we are committed to providing our patients with extraordinary care and extraordinary results. Because we know that patients may require more than one IVF attempt to achieve pregnancy, we created a shared risk program to help make the cost of treatment more predictable. This multi-cycle IVF refund program can increase your chances of having a baby while minimizing your personal financial risk. Participating patients who are unsuccessful with IVF treatment are eligible to receive a refund.

 Shared Risk Program Benefits

Our shared risk program gives patients the confidence and peace of mind to manage the cost of treatment without having to worry about limiting their chances of success or sacrificing high-quality medical care. This program benefits our patients in many ways:

  • Fixed cost minimizes your personal financial risk
  • Because the program includes multiple cycles, it lowers the chance that a patient will drop out before reaching their family-building goals.
  • For patients who are unsuccessful with treatment, this program helps make alternative family-building paths more affordable.

Who is eligible?

Our shared risk program is available to qualified self-pay (uninsured) patients who are pursuing IVF treatment. Eligibility criteria for this program include, but are not limited to, egg quality, age and BMI. Contact our financial specialists to request complete program requirements.

 Shared Risk Pricing

Our tiered pricing options are designed to help patients manage the cost of treatment while increasing their chances of achieving a healthy pregnancy. Qualified patients pay a flat rate (from $19,000 to $22,000) for up to two IVF cycles.
